  • Welcome to Tiease's One-Stop Recipe Shop!:
I love delicious food and collecting recipes so I decided to share a few with my readers;

I have always had a sweet tooth & I thought it was about time that I collect and create amazing candy, desserts & candy apple recipes!  Here's a nice one:

Wonderful in appearance & doesn't take a rocket scientist to make! They are absolutely stunning and no one may believe that you created them! Practice makes perfect!

Ingredient List:
8 wooden craft sticks
8 medium Gala apples $
2 (6.5-ounce) packages caramel apple wraps
1 (16-ounce) chocolate bar
16 ounces vanilla bark coating
Orange paste food coloring
Toppings: colored sprinkles, chopped peanuts, black writing gel
Preparation

  1. Insert craft sticks into apples.
  2. Cover each apple with 1 caramel wrap.
  3. Microwave at HIGH 15 to 20 seconds. Cool.
  4. Melt chocolate bar in a small saucepan over low heat.
  5. Dip each apple into chocolate; let dry.
  6. Melt vanilla bark coating in a small saucepan over low heat; stir in orange food coloring.
  7. Dip or drizzle each apple with vanilla coating mixture. Decorate with desired toppings, and let dry.

It's a no brainer that home made  is healthier & cheaper but have you noticed the poor quality of the super market ready made candy apples it's a disgrace! I thought I could do a better job myself so it's put up or shut up!
