Tiease's Assessment  of Fashion & Style,   I am preparing for a world my ancestors ruled and I am ready to inherit and stamp my individuality upon! Fashion & Style has always shined like a beacon throughout the ages. Fashionistas & models have used these two terms interchangeably, but to really do either one of them justice you must understand and clarify the definition of each term & what its meanings encompass.

The difference between style & fashion is a personal one, in fact individuality is what style is all about. I personally have always been a nonconformist when it comes to fashion. I wear what I want when I want. Take the no white after Labor Day rule, I have never conformed to such silliness. I bought it, its my body & I will bloody-well wear what I desire when I feel like it. As for fades I am not lead around by the nose in favour of the  majority. If I don't like an article I won't wear it, regardless to its status symbolism & popularity.

We all wear different faces for various occasions, so I wear what is suitable and to my taste for what ever the event. Which means I can go from distinguished, to flirty in an instant then to couture elegance to casual off the rack and never bat an eyelash in confusion. The key is self esteem and confidence that what I wear I like, because of my position on fashion many people would label me a stylist, because my style is a continuum the majority of the time. I do enjoy mixing it up occasionally so that I don't go crazy from boredom and wearing something shocking and sassy sometimes.

                              VIDEO ON FALL FASHIONS!

A Fashionista who is a slave to name brand labels exclusively is often influence by fashion fads, capricious whimsies of others and societal choices in favour of a certain garment ill suited to them, "flash in the pants fads". For this  kind of Fashionistas anything that is trending is good enough for her. This is childish in my opinion and makes you one of the flock following their shepherd. I strive for extraordinary and personal identity. I speak my mind on fashion and provide sincere assessments regardless to label. I Tell it like it is and wear it like it is too!

Face it you have probably seen & I know I have friends, family, BFF's  & strangers wearing  noxious garbs so outrageous it looks like a ridiculous fashion disaster has exploded onto them. What this demonstrates is that every new fashion trend should not be followed! Factor in your dimensions and complexities & the over all look you want to convey.

Consider the infamous,"Hip Hugger"known as low rider slacks today. Yes they may in vogue & to absolutely scream for on your sister but horrify the public should you venture to wear a pair. Utilize your good sense, & other considerations for you. Do you have the slamming feminine curves to pull the look off? You want to look good in what you wear. Conforming to peer pressure & status symbols has perplexed Fashionistas and made us pity the unfortunate lady wearing the hot mess trinket.

Significant classic style versus Flash in the pan fashions!

Style is classic, original, fresh & possesses enduring immaculate taste. One's personal style is not phased by the mere change of seasons, evening or night. When you have a style all your own-People notice! They may not like your style, but "What ever will be will be!" You express yourself through what stimulates and communicates your artistic expression of not only the body but your very soul! Appropriate attire for specific events & occasion should be taken into account. For example; I wouldn't wear a red mini-dress to a funeral.

In conclusion Style is a refinement expression of self; While fashion is a here today gone tomorrow type of deal-A fad. Ultimately you can combine your style to lean toward a fashion that happens to suit your taste and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. The golden rule "Know thyself!" :)
