Scar Disappear strategies

Accidents will happen regardless of how careful you are and then you have a unsightly scar to deal with; How do you deal with your scarring dilemma? This is exactly what I wanted to know, so I did a some researching & came up with a few helpful suggestions.

You've heard the old cliche` "Cleanliness is next to Godliness" Well when it comes to scars this rule of thumb is right-on. Any trauma to your skin ( the largest organ in the human body) exposes you to infection. A skin wound which heals swiftly & neatly is less likely to leave a scar. Vitamin C helps healing so consuming food s high in Vitamin C, like: potatoes, oranges, lemons, broccoli, collard greens builds collagen tissue around blood vessels in your skin which promotes speedy cell healing.

  1. Zinc is essential during pregnancy when the fetus brain cell are forming and foods rich in zinc like: peanuts, dark-meat poultry, roasted pumpkin, cheddar cheeses, Brazilian nuts, beef, and sunflower seeds all enable snappy healing.
Tiease's Tips:
Scar tissue has less melanin (brown pigment that occurs in skin, hair and eyes) than the rest of healthy skin, melanin protects us from sunburn, so you are especially vulnerable to sunburn. Take precautions by covering scars with sunscreen of SPF 25 or greater. Never pick at a scab it only increases your potential of scarring.

Wash you wound every day regularly  during your healing process. Hydrogen peroxide or soap, pat dry then apply OTC ointment to help avoid secondary infections which increases your chances of developing a scar.

I bet you didn't know that when fly your potential for UVA damage is compounded because of the high altitude, so if you have the window set you may want to pull down the shade. Throughout your day reapply sunscreen. Use a makeup sponge sprayed with an aerosol sunscreen & pat on to apply.

There are thousands of helpful and medical interventions and you should discuss treatments with your dermatologist.
