Tiease's Shot to the Fashionista's arm about Self-Esteem!

Today all we here is that Americans are so over weight. It's enough to drive even the strongest Fashionista to ponder her appearance but don't. If you find yourself taking hours in the morning to dress or it takes you a century to prepare your self for a night out on the town (My mother was this type of Diva-as a child it drove me nuts!) trying on dozens of different outfits only to disappointed toss each aside and declare they all make you look too fat! This is a sign that all is not right with your inner self, physically you may be a top specimen but your body image (The was a Fashionista sees herself) is starving and this dramatically affects your self worth and eventually your physical appearance.

So what's a Fashionista to do? Start by not blaming yourself this is a common pitfall. Your curves, breast, buttocks, thighs and legs are God given and a proud statement of your femininity heritage! Love yourself the way you are and happiness will follow. I can appreciate sensible exercise after all the human body is built on the principal of "Use it or Lose it!" meaning if you don't use your body it begins to atrophy, dry up and become useless. The key is balance, moderation, positive self-worth. A little muscle toning never hurts and as long as you are totally toned in to what you see in the mirror is pleasing to you then everything is at least on the right track.

Instead of the government chiming in and telling citizens across the board that we are a people of a fat nation they should stress positive self esteem first since this is where most weight gain  and eating disorder arise from.
Poor body image is more likely to lead to risky activities, such as: compulsively exercising, starvation, depression, abuse of steroids, alcohol, drugs and various other eating disorders like bulimia (in which the individual eats a massive amount of food then swiftly throws up and or take laxative to rid their body of the food they have just consumed before their body can digest the nutrient and calories in the food) or anorexia which is just a fancy word for self-starvation. No wonder we a gripped by alcoholism and drug dependent.

Not every Fashionista was meant to look like a bone-in fact the essence and beauty of woman is her curvaceousness. The money driven Media has forced many Fashionistas to question their own natural body types. The so-called ideal body types is a myth since the bean stalks held up as the perfect is anything but perfect. It's past time to trash these impossible-to-achieve stereotyped illusions and lies displayed for use to marvel at and the truth of the matter is that these aren't natural. The so-called perfect model images we find ourselves been force to look at because that is all that is available is a lie. These photos have been photo shopped  with all body imperfections eliminated, various dieting drugs, chemical are provided to them that the every day woman just doesn't know about and even if you did would not be available to you and worse of all cosmetic surgical enhancement are the key reason for all these amazing bodies. Flat chest today Giant knockers (Breast) tomorrow. You much have good character and we must educate our younger Fashionistas to appreciate themselves just the way they are. Yes be is shape, eat what ever you like in moderation and according to any preexisting conditions or diet restrictions you may have like diabetes but do eat!

I encourage my readers that to look at yourself differently, see your glass as half full-rather than half empty.
Look at your accomplishment, not merely your outer beauty (youth is fleeting and we all age then where will you be a grumpy old woman hating younger women who haven't done one thing against you but be young and beautiful). First if the magazines you subscribe to doesn't have every day women in them then get rid of it because it's not reality. These magazine and television commercials are created to sell, persuade or manipulate
you how to criticize your own beautiful God given glory. Ask yourself is that starving bean stalk is actually enjoying her life, her food, is she happy?

I invite you to take another better road. Set goals for yourself of being smart, God loving, strong, fit and self-fulfillment. It is easy to get fat but imagine how much better we could be as a people if we focused more on the individual and not how skinny or not they are.

Just be the best you can be and be happy. Plan delicious healthy, nutritious meals and encourage yourself to indulge in sensible exercise. You can just walk, burn excess calories and tone your muscles. You don't need to be totally tuned into the Gym scene-just do your own thing. Why not start a club where you meet to walk or exercise in your home or take a walk down your local blocks. If you have always wanted to ball room dance then take lessons. It doesn't matter what activity you do as long as you do something. Even yoga is a positive exercise and daily meditation for 10 minutes and daily morning prayer are a wonderful and soothing way to start your fashionable day. Do what suits you!

Beware standing in front of your mirror and hating yourself, stop proclaiming that the image you see is unattractive instead decide that you will be the best that you can be and that's all that any Fashionista
